my day at the internet marketing academy

this is my first blog. I am trying it out because of what I learnt in the internet marketing academy.
The interest to attend this course started based on the fact that I had lots of pretty things , and good bargains, bought from bangkok. Hoping to give my fellow country men a glimpse of how cheap some branded stuff can get.
Arent we all tired of paying 100s of dollars, for brand names, and even more irritating is when we try to look for some cheaper alternatives, the brandless ones still cost an arm and a leg in Singapore. Hiya, thats because a country as small as us, produces nothing. Labour and shop rental is expensive, so when stuff come in, they are inflated 200-300% already, therefore what we see in the shops.
So the day was interesting, we got to see how Google works, some tools to assess internet traffic, some money making website and technology. It was quite an eye opening to understand more about internet marketing
Later, when we went to a friends house , he was telling us more about this'old technology' he had been dabbling with for the last 5 years. And due to his work commitments, he had stopped in the last 2 years. His total earning to date, were an impressive USD $8, enough for starbucks for 2.
